Tools:: Photoshop CS5 Time: 1 week ------------------------------------------------ What's been keeping me busy the past week!
Fun project animating Artemis because HEY! I'm in school for Animation, so I decided to do something about it :9
A huge learning process. If I were to animate something else, I know what steps to take now.
There are still a few things wonky about this. Artemis uses a compound bow, but the animation sequences that I referenced from the show has her pull back using BOTH strings rather than one. That's why I have her pulling both, despite how...it probably shouldn't work that way. Hahahhaha.
Fantastic job! I'm really impressed by Artemis' intro. It wasn't stiff, but pretty accurate. Great job with the fluidity of her movement, especially with the ponytail. ^-^
A new project is probably the greatest way to improve your overall abilities. I'm used to simply drawing on sketchbook paper but I got a digital art tablet for Christmas. I am still trying to get used to it! Drawing out a few portraits has really helped, so I understand the impact practicing really has.
If this project is any indication, I bet you're doing well in your Animation studies. Keep up the great work!
